6 years ago I got my first Sphynx. I named her Emmi after my grandmother. She was the most loving cat I had ever had. So intelligent, affectionate, and playful. I had found the perfect animal companion. Shortly after having her, she became ill because she developed illness that came from her parents. They told me she would not have a full life and that the time I would have with her would be short. I was devastated. Emmi passed just before her second birthday in my arms from HCM. After this with working in the medical field and my passion for animals, I decided I wanted to try to help improve the Sphynx Breed. To try to reduce the amount of people from experiencing what Emmi and I did. That is how Ziebke Sphynx came about. The past six years I have been working to improve the Sphynx breed through showing to ensure quality conformation, health testing to improve their health and lots or love and tender care to create Sphynx with amazing temperament.
